Stan “the man” Lee’s inevitable cameo in the film may have been revealed. According to @MisterGreenwich of Twitter, who’s notorious for tracking all things in Greenwich, where filming is taking place, Lee’s cameo will involve the following; potential spoiler warning.
@MisterGreenwich: If anyone knows about #Marvel & #Thor & is around when the Bus is being driven - Check the driver. Been told it’s going to be Stan Lee!!!!
The bus that Mr. Greenwich is referring to is the London double-decker, with a fictional movie advert on its side, which was spotted last week. It seems the very sequence that Natalie Portman & Chris Hemsworth are filming today will involve the bus. What do you think? 
While the legendary comic book creator has already filmed his inevitable cameo in Marvel Studios’ first “Phase 2” installment, Iron Man 3, Stan Lee recently confirmed his next cameo in Thor: The Dark World, according to the folks from Nuke the Fridge.
Now that the Alan Taylor-directed sequel has started filming earlier this week, ‘The Man’ revealed during a Q&A at the Comikaze Expo that he knows what the part will involve. And although he didn’t detail the cameo for obvious reasons, Lee did, however, tease it.
“You have never seen anything like it,” Stan Lee said. “neither have I. Do not miss it!”

A beauty pageant Judge! Yes, apparently Shane Black’s Iron Man 3 will feature a beauty pageant of some description - most likely the Miss Chattanooga Christmas Pageant judging from a recent set pic - at some point in the story. The site report that Lee shot his cameo scenes yesterday, Tuesday July 10th

“The Avengers cameo that you will see, when that movie opens up, is possibly one of my best,” says Lee. “And you know how good mine have been, but it is so funny. I can’t tell you what it is ‘cause they’d kill me, but it is funny.”
“So is the Spider-Man one, by the way,” he continues. “They’re deciding to make my cameos a little funnier. They know that’s what brings the audiences in, of course, so they’ve gotta play them up.”
As for Iron Man 3, that one has yet to be shot, but Lee explains that he has to be ready and waiting at the drop of a hat…
“It’s almost scary ‘cause they just give me a date,” he says. “They’ll say, Stan, come over next Thursday for your cameo,’ but they don’t tell me what it is. So, I show up and they say, ‘Go to wardrobe.’ I don’t know what is expected of me, until I get there, but of course, I do it magnificently.”

“[Stan Lee]’s fantastic. He did a cameo on the Fantastic Four films, so I’ve met him a few times, and he was just amazing. He’s a living legend. He’s got so much energy and so much personality and he’s so positive, always smiling and always cracking jokes. He really is one amazing human being.”
“There are a lot of growing pains that The Avengers have to work out in the first film but I’m not going to get too into detail because Marvel will kill me. So you’ll just have to wait and see the film in March … May? … May!”
